Three Truths

saitainaThere were always three truths I knew growing up:
1. My mother would die while I was young (she passed away while I was 29).
2. My grandmother would outlive every doctor's words when he said "you won't live out the year" (she has been told this five times in my life, the last one four years ago).
3. I would die before I turned thirty.
Today I turn thirty-one (yes, I'm not really five, I'm just immature), and while I did make that one false, it almost wasn't, after mum passed.
I'm so glad I turned thirty-one, instead of another year in the grave.

Date: 2012-01-25 11:53 pm (UTC)I just never seem to have time to really read anymore...or write. Then again, everything I DO write I end up deleting so maybe there are other issues going on in my head, but they haven't made themselves known to my concious thought so who knows *shrugs*
