I don’t comprehend the meaning nor the purpose of this story.

Stories have to have a purpose now? I’m no longer allowed to write whatever pretty little thought the muses put in my head that happens to fall in a pleaseing arrangement?

Well fuck me, there go most of my stories.

I can’t decide if the reviewer hadn’t read the original manga arc the story was based off of, or just an idiot.

the best stories connect with the reader so that they see what the author sees, feel what the author feels, and make them understand why the author wrote the story, whether on whim and fancy or to release turmoil, or whatever the purpose might be.

writing for you is fine, it helps maintain good writing habits and hone your craft - but when you're writing for an audience, you do have to consider that audience because you want them to connect with your work and remember it and come back for more.

I am aware of that, hun. And most of the readers who read the story in question 'got it'. This reviewer was the only one who was apparently the only one who had no idea about it, despite the fact the summary spelled out the story's purpose.

Golden was fantastic! (one of my favorites ♥ ) I don't see what could possibly be confusing about it if you've read the original arc. ^+^*
