What the fuck is wrong with people?! I understand being in love and I understand wanting to be with that person but I do NOT get going back to someone who is physically abusive, puts you and your children in danger, tries to KILL your next lover and who basically does everything in their power to screw you over.

Yet mum's boss seems to have no problem going back to her girlfriend who terrorized her only a few short weeks ago.

*blinks*

I don't get it!

If someone makes your life such a living hell you don't even feel safe in your own home, wouldn't that lbe a sign the relationship is not a good idea?

Maybe I'm just bitter and broken. Maybe there's nothing left in me to understand a love so consuming your forget yourself and the problems in a relationship.

Some people have valid reasons, and some people can change.

But then some people are just idiots. I don't know.

There is NO reason to go back to a woman who threw a glass at your six year old son and made you so afraid you didn't feel safe living in your own home because she terrorized you.

But then again, I don't think there's any valid reason to hurt someone you love in such a manner...or any manner outside the normal course of a relationship (such as it falling apart). You can't love someone and hurt them at the same time.

But...not my relationship so I don't get a choice, I just get to stand by and watch, helping her pick up the pieces when it all falls apart again.
