So I went to this Town Hall thingy last night where we were
discusing the fire cheif's suspension (he w2as acuseced of stealing gas, got
arrested, DA dropped the charges, he's still on suspension)

And they're
trying to come up with any reason at all to keep him suspended since they can't
do it for the gas thing (He didn't do it so he should have his position
returned).

They start bitching about how he made the guys train for 60hrs
when the requirment is only four hours and us (the townspeople) are all confused
and the fire cheif even looks confused and goes "So you're bitching I over train
my men?"

Another woman stood up and said she'd rather have the guys with
sixty hours of training come to a fire or medical emergancy then the guys with
four hours.

Am I the only one not seeing a problem with people being
trained for sixty hours?

They also bitched he didn't get his paper work
done on time. Umm, yeah, because he was, you know, fighting fires.
