saitainaWhat is it with my family and giving up cash that does not belong to them? I would like my trust fund! I have been 21 for a month now, give me my fucking money damnit! Grr, hate my family.
On on an up note I have gone 1 week without ciggy nor patch, go me! Somehow loss of nicotine has inspired me, I'm currently working on three chapters at the same time so expect a flood within a few weeks for those caring.
I'm starting to get bored with the fandom though, scary thought that. I got bored with Buffy and now all I do is watch, I got bored with Anita and I can barley stand reading those books. Shall Harry suffer the same fate? Hope not.
But do I really want to be a part of this fandom. I'm not a big name thankfully and I don't have the problems others do (okay I had one annoying bitchy stalker but Lauren was an idiot anyway). Should I start to worry when the fan authors get fans? that's scary. Sure Al and Cass are great writers but some of these people that look up to them freak me out. What happens when they stop being fan authors and start being idols, that's bad for the fandom. I've seen it before, the fandom burns out because everyone decent leaves. It's hard enough NOT to find a bunch of teenagers in this fandom I don't want my only decent counterparts to leave.
And what is the shit against slash! I am gettng tired of having to defends what I write. for BTVS and Anita I wrote Het, for K:TE I wrote het..why can't I write slash for HP?! Okay I get it that it's odd I write mostly slash, but I cannot write a decent het relationship with out a slash counterpart for some reason in HP. Probably because I don't like any of the female leads except Ginny, the boys are funner to play with. *sigh*

It happens a lot when everything's new and novel, except now you've read a lot of the same things for a while, and there's no freshness anymore. Besides, the fifth book is coming out this summer, and then you'll turn full-fledged screaming HP fan again! :) As for Buffy...well...I never foudn the show that interesting in the first place, only perhaps that's just because I've only seen it twice about two months ago.
Anyhoo, next time you see people flaming your slash, by email, just forward it to me so you dont' have to read it. Or just delete it, whatever, lol. You have plenty of slash supporters.
As for the fandom collasping...well...you have all their emails and sn, right?
