New Car and Playing out of turn
Apr. 17th, 2004 03:14 amMum bought a BRAND NEW CAR. And she FORCED me to ride in it. It was horrible, what with the CD player going and the new car smell and just ick. :) She hasn't had a new (I mean brand new, not new to her) car since she was eighteen so about thirty odd years. I keep forgetting it's OUR new car and not A. a used car or B. a car we're just borrowing. I think I might splurge on a new car when I get back from Philly...I need a car as Lucius is crapping out on me (I go a mile and he starts smoking). I can afford it...kinda, so I might look into it.
I REALLY gotta stop playing Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I need to finish the walk through for Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time before I leave in June (I need to take it with me) but MM is addicting. I don't like it though, it's all very weird, gives off weird vibe. Not only do I not know the layout like I do for OoT, but the characters scare me. I know Nintendo has a thing for re-using Zelda characters, but certain characters should NOT be repeated. I grew to love these characters (Malon, the Carpenters, even the running man) and some of the villains (The witch twins) but in MM they switched them all around so that while playing, I'm looking at Kotake waiting for her to attack me when she's just some swamp witch who makes potions, IT'S NOT FAIR!
But I like the game over all, it's kinda cool really, though the time thing is annoying, I have yet to play a temple and figure out how the hell to keep with the time without doing the temple twice. I'm serious, I've done Wood falls Temple and Snow head Temple (Swamp and Mountain) Twice because the game keeps messing up a save or reversal of time. It's fucking annoying. I miss the save feature of OoT where I just had to press a button.
But the dog is hilarious, I can't wait to see how he reacts to Zora...
Oh geeze I babble, I'll head off now
