Trip from hell? Not so much...
Mar. 4th, 2012 11:59 pmSo, due to lovely Oregon weather, just as we were about to land in Eugene, we got fogged out and had to fly to Redmond, OR (yeah, I didn't even know there was a Redmond, OR until now). Thankfully, allegant put us up in hotels (Comfort Inn and Sleep Inn).
What should have turned out disasterous is rather very nice. I get a HUGE double room (suite?) to myself for a few hours (10pm to 5am) and am enjoying it emensely. I have indulged in the wide bath (I squeak I'm so clean), I have the world's softest bed and pillows to roll around on, and free internet until I either collapse or my cab arrives.
So all in all, bad turned good and if you're ever near Redmond, OR (or any Sleep Inn really), stop on in, the service is fantastic and the beds to die for.
