Mum and I applied for a home equity loan to get some cash together and take care of things around here such as upgrading my computer, paying off her car, hopefully getting me a car, buying a new fridge (ours went the way of the dodo bird), getting a new washer and dyer (also in the land of the dodo) and general repars we need to do.

They're supposed to call sometime today with the awnser.

I think I'm going to throw up.

We really, REALLY need this money. We can't afford a second hand fridge, nor the repairs to the one we have without it. And Grandmere's of no help. When mum asked to borrow the hundred or so dollars to fix the fridge (remember this is the same women that pays cash for cars and houses), she said mum could take apart the freezer every week and defrost it, instead of getting a repair man.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the bitch of the west, my grandmere.

BTW, any I Love Lucy fans know some fan sites where I can get good screen shots? I'm going to make I Love Lucy Icons (never seen them before, should be fun.
