Stupid things...
Apr. 13th, 2007 10:09 pmto do while driving:
1. Going 60mph, up a windy rode, driving one handed, with a sezuring cat on your lap.
2. Petting the second sick cat on the way to the vet who is standing on your shoulder and back seat (well, shoulder) driving.
3. Having a syringe filled with flea medicine in the car when you nearly get pulled over for speeding due to stress of having two very sick cats.
Sadly I did all these today while driving Sherbert and Mika to the vet. Mum had given them the wrong flea treatment which resulted in them getting poisioned (there's an ingredient in dog flea treatments that becomes a nerotoxin in cats). Sherbert was sezuring and flipping out, Mika was just shaking and bitching about my driving (in between watching everything rush by her).
I'm no longer counted on in emergancies as I thought 60mph would be the perfect speed in a 35mph zone, with a cat on my lap/shoulder.
Both are doing better now according to the vet and should be home tomorrow afternoon...now if I could just get rid of my headache.
