Why do...

people find it perfectly acceptable to park in our neighbor's driveway/yard when visiting us? This ranges from service personnel (like the plumber visiting today) to our friends and it's annoying me. They don't even move when we point out it's our neighbor's property and not appropriate for them to park there.

Are manners and commons sense really that far gone that people can't figure out we wouldn't want our guest parking somewhere that does not belong to us? I mean, honestly, I might do it once out of mistake (though how I would miss the fence separating the properties I wouldn't know), but not repeatedly and certainly NOT after my host/client informed me it was not their property.

And informing me, after I tell you it would be 'advisable you move your van as that is not our property", that you will only move it if they bitch and 'it'll be okay', is not endearing me to your company. In fact, it makes me want to throw you out of my house and call a plumber with decency and a thought process.

I do not know our neighbors well, I do not wish to start a feud just because you don't want to move your dumbass van, try thinking beyond your laziness to the problems our service people might cause our neighbors when they try to park their huge ass van. Which, by the way, could crush your teeny van without a thought, thus, you really should move it...and while you're at it, take a refersher course in proper manners when visiting someone else's house as a service provider.

*goes to glare haughtily at the plumbers who are STILL pissing me off*
