Reasons not to trust a Sick Saity
Nov. 10th, 2006 04:09 pmSo I just had minor surgery in my mouth, I'm in pain and having a drug reaction to the Vicodin (yet still taking it as I prefer being sick over being in pain). I've also just contracted the flu, so more hell for me. Please note I'm 'drifty' right now, half in, half out of it, a walking zombie in a cloud.
I'm in the kitchen, making dinner/lunch/whatever. I'm heating soup when we hear what sounds like a minor bomb going off. Mum and I go to look and I see my cup of soup, some of it out, and the top lying on it's side.
Me: The soup went 'espody again.
Mum: Helps not to heat it with the top on.
Me: But it says 'heat covered'
Mum: They don't mean with the lid so tight preassure builds.
Me: Oooo...soup!
So now I'm not allowed in the kitchen until the meds were off. Apparently I've been reverted to the mentality of a five year old at the moment (Unlike my normal behavior where I'm at least six *grins*).
Ugh, sleepy.
I'm never having surgery during flu season!
I'm entering mum in the Today Show make over thingy...she deserves it with all she's been through. Plus it might make her smile, and it would be nice to see her smile again.
Only 10,000 words for Nanowrimo...I suck.

Date: 2006-11-13 02:47 pm (UTC)I hope you feel better soon! Poor poor Sait. Tell Rafey to take care of you.
And you're doing better at Nanowrimo than I am. I keep deleting what I write so I have ZERO words. I truly suck.

Date: 2006-11-14 11:05 pm (UTC)None of my originals were suitable so I'm writing a detective Conan fanfiction.
I need to get to work on my originals though, I'm losing touch with the characters again.
I had this interesting idea for a look at the moricia trio as youngsters, when Diego's first teaching them magick. Nothing big but just a glimpse as the kids before they became the perverted warlock, the alter boy turned vampire (or gay boy, or Robin Hood, or whatever variation you choose...only Sasha and Rafel stay the same) and the Irish prostitute.
I also need to finish my research on fingerprint scanning machines and work out the ten genetic donors for "Finding Thomas". I have three donnors (a gay man who committed suicide before Thomas could meet him, a novelist who donated his genetic material for cash in college and has no intrest in meeting with Thomas, let alone connecting, and a drag queen diva from Vegas who at fifty forms one of the closest bonds to Thomas. This meeting is one of the catalyst that turns Thomas towards the true meaning of family and his trip back home).
...though my main problem with the damn story is after several years living in my head, Blake and Thomas no longer want to go on a cross country road trip together.
Also I'm stuck on the password for Gen...whatever the name of the labritory it's computers. I was going to use Voldemort (as an off refrance as the story takes place 50 years into the future), But instead I think I might go in a different direction to avoid problems and use the last name of one of my friends or family who allow it. It would be a harder password to guess, (though, Blake has a hacking program that just sits there and does it for you...lucky bastard).
