With the new TNT series, Leverage coming closer and closer to air, it’s hard not to see the similarities between the cast of characters on the show, and my characters from Conjour’s Masquerade.

There are obvious differences of course, the head of the group is not twenty-four such as my character, I have different ‘jobs’ for my group, not to mention we’d have to add a seventeen-year-old amputee and remove the cute blond (unless you count Kiden’s split personality, Kidoko who is a rather lot like Parker).

It’s just…weird, seeing so many characters so close to what I’ve been writing for a while now. I know that no idea is original, but really, very, very strange. And it’s making it hard to write as I keep seeing scenes from the previews that I want to sneak into CM.

At least I know that the show, won’t end anywhere near where my story will. *grins*

Which reminds me, I should start working on CM9, since I quit Nano. And probably the next chapter of Faded Roses, since a reader requested it specifically.
