So after several days of fighting with YouTube over copyright violations and Anime Music Video’s stand in copyright law (of which their are none), I received this letter

Dear Saitaina,

Thanks for you email. We need all of the counter notice information in
one email. The identification of the material that has been removed is
missing from the email below. Please send all information described below
in one email.

If you’re trying to file an objection to a copyright takedown, please
review our copyright hints at http://youtube.com/t/dmca_policy. Please be
aware that any counternotice we receive will be forwarded to the party who
issued the takedown notice; hence, your identity will be revealed. Also,
before deciding to send a counternotice please be sure you understand that
you can be held liable in court for a false counternotice.

A formal objection must include four specific elements listed below.

(A) A physical or electronic signature of the subscriber.

(B) Identification of the material that has been removed or to which
access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared
before it was removed or access to it was disabled.

(C) A statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good
faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of
mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.

(D) The subscriber’s name, address, and telephone number, and a statement
that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of Federal District Court
for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if the
subscriber’s address is outside of the United States, for any judicial
district in which the service provider may be found, and that the
subscriber will accept service of process from the person who provided
notification under subsection (c)(1)(C) or an agent of such person.

…which means we’ve now reached the point where I either get a lawyer in case I’m wrong of it falling undre Fair Use, or I give up.

Since I don’t have the money for a lawyer, I guess it’s time to walk away, but the very idea pisses me off, expecially since I think I’m in the right (or at least grey), not to mention I want my damn account back, even if I have to promise to never upload anything again.

So now we try a diffrent route…and glare in frustration at the fact I can’t put my AMV’s up.
