Reasons not to trust a Sick Saity

So I just had minor surgery in my mouth, I’m in pain and having a drug reaction to the Vicodin (yet still taking it as I prefer being sick over being in pain). I’ve also just contracted the flu, so more hell for me. Please note I’m ‘drifty’ right now, half in, half out of it, a walking zombie in a cloud.
I’m in the kitchen, making dinner/lunch/whatever. I’m heating soup when we hear what sounds like a minor bomb going off. Mum and I go to look and I see my cup of soup, some of it out, and the top lying on it’s side.
Me: The soup went ‘espody again.
Mum: Helps not to heat it with the top on.
Me: But it says ‘heat covered’
Mum: They don’t mean with the lid so tight preassure builds.
Me: Oooo…soup!
So now I’m not allowed in the kitchen until the meds were off. Apparently I’ve been reverted to the mentality of a five year old at the moment (Unlike my normal behavior where I’m at least six *grins*).
Ugh, sleepy.
I’m never having surgery during flu season!
I’m entering mum in the Today Show make over thingy…she deserves it with all she’s been through. Plus it might make her smile, and it would be nice to see her smile again.
Only 10,000 words for Nanowrimo…I suck.
