PoA and NYC

A day after the event and my head is quite foggy as to what happened yesterday. Overdose on excitement.
New York was awsome, despite getting lost near 6th and Broadway. I enjoyed walking around, until we hit our tenth block and my feet gave out near Time Square. I can’t wait to go back there when I have more time. I want to hit the wax museum on 42nd, I forgot that there was one in NY.
Riding the subway, filled with excited HP fans is an experiance. As was meeting Heidi and Ali. Wish I had brought my camera instead of Robyn’s so I could have gotten a decent pic of Heidi and not the floor. Bad camera (or bad me for not knowing how to work it).
Watching PoA with so many excited, happy, fanficers and shippers was a trip. I think every ship was quite well represented, though obviously none more then Pumpkin Pie and Wolfstar…Robyn complains her ears are STILL bleeding but we can’t help it. No more then us Handcuffers could help it during THOSE scenes (still happily smirking over those).
It was nice seeing the others as well…especially some I only know by name and reputation alone. I enjoyed seeing old friends that I haven’t spoken to in ages and just wish we could have gone for a drink after, but oh well.
I’m stll getting used to Philly, though I seemed to have adapped better to wondering around NY rather then Philly for some reason. I can’t, can’t, can’t WAIT to go back there. Yes, I love NYC, just like I always knew I would, even if the Subway is rather confusing at times for me.
For those of you who live in this area, remember, I’m always happy to meet up for coffee or drinks or just hang out. :o)
Gotta run, Robyn’s attempting to put breakfast on the table and the laptop is in the way. She acts like this is my fault…
