I wish I had a camera...
Oct. 27th, 2010 02:09 pmFor as long as I've been doing computer work, it's been my desire to cut off or shave off my hair so that it stops getting in my way (yes, chin length hair is annoying if your working on a laptop). Unfortunately for me, my mother has had this insane idea that I should grow out my hair.
Thankfully, on this subject at least, my mother is not here, and while I didn't go so far as to shave it, I did gather my har in a high ponytail and start snipping.
The result is rather cute, the back is all short and spikey while my long chin length bangs somehow managed to escape the scissors for the most part (I have to trim them up, as one side ended up shorter then the other).
I rather like it for a 'fit of frustration' cut, and it's a fun haircut to wear, pretty much a no-hairbrush cut where I can run my fingers through it and then run out the door.
And for those days I want long hair? This style is much easier to shove under my new long black wig, heck, don't even need a wig cap, just gel the bangs back and there I go.
