Birthday musings

Once more it seems like I won't be celebrating my brithday, but this time by choice. Mum and I were talking and we REALLY don't have money this coming month, so the thought was to save up and take another trip this summer for my birthday.

Destination: Canada.

Not the most exotic of vacation choices but A. I've never been there, B. It's close and C. we don't need visa's (though we do need passports thanks to bloody security measures.

Never really had an idea to visit Canada, but I'm starting to get exceited about the idea, it's something new...and yet, not. It's nice to start out my travel in a culture simular to my own, rather then say...dropping myself in the middle of an african tribe or some such.

eee, can't wait! Can't wait to get my passport either!

WOOOOO! Canada! Going to Vancouver/Victoria? Victoria is so pretty! Word to the wise: don't leave anything valuable in car. I know this is common sense, but it's nice to reiterate it every once in a while. Especially since my backpack was stolen in Canada.

No idea yet, though we're probably just going straight up north since we're driving (so...whatever's north of Washinton State).
