GAAAHHHH!

Okay, I hate writing porn, hate, hate, hate, HATE...yet for some asinine reason I end up writing a lot of it in my stories. But...

Can someone please tell me why my "Illustionist's Ball" Muses seem inclined to give me only ideas for porn?!?! And not even usable porn, as all these scenes happen severa bajillion chapters from where I am!

I can't write anything else because my head is filled with scenes for Akako/Kid, Kid/Kaito and Saguru/Kid (or Saguru/Kaito or even Saguru/Kid/Kaito). Hell I even had a Kid/Conan/Akako scene before I tried distracting myself with Kingdom Hearts!

...I need to find a way to get illusionary, invisible greek beings laid so they stop torturing me!

Be-cause it's part of the story. I got through all of MW fading to black except the Kaito/Saguru scene at the end. I'm not going to do that for IB as it's part of the story line, plus removing porn whipes out one of my more...interesting scenes between Kid and Akako.

'sides, I only hate writing it because I feel that I'm not yet talented enough to make them...well, sexy.

Hmm, I just realized IB's full of porn, blood, and underage drinking by all main characters...even the villain is underage (he's 19). Sounds like a bad TV movie. *giggles*

(plus it's not just IB that has porn scenes that are plot critical, "Tainted" (Legend of Zelda), "Headless Bingo" (YGO) and "Fades Roses" (DCMK) each have some)

well then its not the fact that you dont want to then, its the fact that you feel like you 'can't'
well, you can write it.
its very well written and doesnt sound like, well, someone like 'me' wrote it. (suppose the best word is 'not experienced')
but anyways, write what you feel you can write good. make a few drafts of differnt ways to go about it and let your beta read them and see which one she likes.
(you probably don't want to do 'my' way and all buy write the sex scene. ...-_-...)
and be careful with your writin's on LJ i hear they are crackin down on alot of underage stuff.
at least they did for a lot of harry potter stuff.

Sad thing is, I no longer have a beta. I lost her when she took four monthes to edit chapter 12 of MW and decided to go forward alone because I have some ideas for IB she would have rejected (and I like the ideas too much to drop theme).

Livejournal IS attacking underage sex, which is why there is only one of my stories that contains it ("Tainted"). I'm keeping it clean for IB (Conan is seven physically after all, there's not too much I can play with there, I've checked). Underage drinking however, is not being attacked, so I'm keeping it in IB. Though there is a debate going about writing vs art, weither writing is a protected medium due to the fact books like "Lolita" and others exist in the real world and are protected creative items.

And stop getting down on your writing. I'm going to lay it down honestly for you write now, yes, sometimes your writing is a bit...off, but you do have talent. Give it a few more years and you'll be an awsome writer. When I was your age, I was writing...well, crap. I had Mary/Gary Stu's everywhere, stupid plots...just really bad writing. It took me several years to get a focus and start writing something intresting, and I still have a long way to go in terms of characterization and that.

'sides, I like your work. They're easy to read stories that don't make me go cross-eyed with overly done words and long scenes that leave me wondering what the hell happened. If I had any advice, beyond the technical (which I give you anyway), is you need more depth, more exploration of a scene and the character (which again, is something I need as well).

i'm not down on my writing (and thanks for the complement!)
I'm about as negative on my writing as any writer can, but like sex scenes, i just can't do them, i get to right before, and...i get nervous and can't go through with them. I think its because of my lack of experience that keeps me from exploring the strange world that is called 'sex.'
one day i'll get there, and when i do, it will be hot

I'll keep you in mind if I decide to get a beta to help me keep my tangled story in line (I swear the plot grows like a pumpkin vine)
