Stupid doctors
Nov. 13th, 2006 11:43 pmSo we discovered this morning I couldn't breath very well, the whole shortness of breath, unable to finish a sentence without a breath deal. So mum (who has bronchitis and pnemonioa) called the doctor...
Who didn't have any openings until the twenty-ninth (o_O) so we growl a bit and argue about wither or not I'll die if I don't get seen. Doctor calls back and tells us to go to the ER...
So off we go. We get in, find out my blood oxygen is around 80 something and dropping, when it's supposed to be around 90 something. So doctor gives me funky look and starts questioning me then asks me to strip (o_O).
I start a new fashion trend with my lovely styling of an open backed gown with another gown over the shoulders as a cape (even the nurses said I was a fashion plate (^_^). Anyway! I get an IV jabbed into me (O_O OW!) And then another poke for a blood draw (*tears*).
Two breathing treatments, and IV full of steroids and three chest X-Ray's later (o_O), I'm diagnosed with asthmatic bronchitis and sent home bouncing off the wall from the steroids.
But I lost twenty pounds! (^_^)
And I guess I'll get better soon, and hopefully stop feeling like an out of water jellyfish...though the lying around has been kinda fun...and boring. And my arm hurts from the IV *whimpers*
And mum apologized for not beliving it was important. (*growls*)

Date: 2006-11-14 10:58 am (UTC)Though the steroids seemed to have had an odd interaction with my ADDH and made me bounce around like a monkey on speed. Thank you for your warm wishes! (and man is it great to be able to type when you can't form sentances well, stupid lungs).
